Nelson and Simon have joined the resistance, along with the other escapees from the DCA, but now the resistance wants Nelson to kill the supers that the Superhero Bureau sends after the resistance.
And Nelson’s still grappling with the guilt he feels over killing the guard when he escaped the DCA.
When the SHB sends an elite squad of villains to attack the resistance base, and Simon kills some of them, Nelson’s got a lot more to be worried about, because when an empaths kills the feelings of the person they killed stay with them.
Now Simon is losing himself and Nelson has to take drastic action, but both the resistance and SHB will do everything they can to stop Nelson from discovering the true origin of the powers that superheroes have, because that secret could change everything.
